QUALIFICATIONS
A property manager must have a thorough understanding of the real estate market. The manager must be able to assess the current as well as future value of a property based on its net operating income and be able to develop a management and marketing plan that meets the owner's investment objectives, while at the same time, flexible enough to respond to changing market conditions. The manager must be ethical in all dealings with the owner, tenants, and other professionals involved in the management of a property. In addition to this, they must possess 1) strong communication skills, to include understanding the tenant psychology and relationship with the landlord; 2) an understanding of maintenance procedures; 3) familiarity with insurance policies and claims; 4) accounting capabilities; and 4) the ability to provide comprehensive and clear financial reporting. The Real Estate Professionals is an experienced and diverse group of individuals with backgrounds in residential and commercial sales and leasing, banking, development, insurance, marketing, and appraisal. As a result, they bring a lot to the table when it comes to providing comprehensive and capable property management.
